FFHL Joins in Mourning at the Death
of Archbishop Pietro Sambi

The Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land is sad to announce the death of His Excellency, Pietro Sambi, DD Apostolic Nuncio to the United States on Wednesday evening July 27, 2011. Archbishop Sambi served on the National Board of Trustees for the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land. His contributions and his support of the Christians living in the Holy Land is well known and he will be solely missed. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we extend our condolences and prayers to his family.
