Bit of good news in Holy Land despite all the bad news in Syria and Egypt

(MedjugorjeToday) How about some good news out of the Middle East in these troubled weeks?!?!  Here’s some.

13,000 Christians, Jews, and Muslims were gathered together on August 21st when visionary Vicka Ivankovic-Mijatovic had her apparition in Mealia, Israel.  Earlier in the week, Vicka’s pilgrimage group visited biblical sites by the Sea of Galilee and Jerusalem, according to Jakob Marschner from Medjugorje Today.

Along with the three bishops of Galilee, 40 priests concelebrated a Mass before some 13,000 Christians, Jews and Muslims.  It was a peaceful and joyful celebration that left many in tears, reported Marschner. Yesterday, Vicka’s apparition took place in the Garden of Gethsemane, and earlier that day, she met with the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Fouad Boutros Ibrahim Twal.

Whether one believes the apparitions or not, one thing can be said. Gathering 13,000 people together in the Holy Land without incident is a miracle unto itself.  That Christians, Muslims and Jews made up that 13,000 brought hope that a peaceful, God-focused, unifying, co-existence can one day be achieved in the Holy Land.
