(JPost) The Israeli Ministry of Finance has seen a 300 percent increase in the amount of Ultra-Orthodox men coming to its employment centers compared to 2013, according to Economy Minister Naftali Bennett.
According to the data, only 734 Ultra-Orthodox men came to the government-run employment centers in 2013, while in 2014 there were 2,134 men from the community who came to the centers to receive help in finding a job.
“These are dramatic numbers not just for the Ultra-Orthodox community, but for the Israeli one as well,” Bennett said.
