Naim, Tabgha and Capernaum added as piligrimage dates on Franciscan liturgical calendar

(terrasanctablog)  The Custos of the Holy Land, Fra Pizzaballa, in the presence of many Franciscans who came from Jerusalem and Galilee and a crowd of others assembled for an open-air Eucharist in the newly arranged open area between the convent and the church that overlooks Peter’s house in Capernum.

The point of the gathering was to celebrate the addition of the cities of Naim, Tabgha and Capernum to the Franciscan liturgical calendar as a reason to make pilgrimages to these sites during the liturgical year to be reminded of the good news that was preached there by Jesus- as well as the miracles he worked in each.
