Obama mentions Israeli-Palestinian peace talks in State of the Union

“As we speak, American diplomacy is supporting Israelis and Palestinians as they engage in difficult but necessary talks to end the conflict there; to achieve dignity and an independent state for Palestinians, and lasting peace and security for the State of Israel – a Jewish state that knows America will always be at their side.” -President Barak Obama, State of the Union, 2014
The topics were many and controversial.  While some clapped and others sat, two subjects did seem to unite everyone in applause.  One was  the already-famous story of Army Ranger, Cory Remsburg, and the U.S. soldiers here and abroad.  The other was diplomacy, specifically, the efforts exerted by the U.S. as we work to help create a lasting peace with Israelis and Palestinians in the Holy Land.

FFHL applauds with America.  We are continually committed not just to talking about this peace but daily making it our aim as we safeguard the Christian Presence in the Holy Land. President Obama called for action. Help us.  www.ffhl.org
