With gratitude for his life and sadness at this passing, the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land thanks Bob Simon for his many decades of work, most especially the excellent piece he wrote for us in 2012. Bob truly got the essence of our mission: safeguarding the Christian presence in the Holy Land.
