The Library of the Custody of the Holy Land consists of 45 thousand volumes, 110 periodicals and nearly a thousand ancient texts that come from the monasteries of Ein Karem, Bethlehem and Nazareth. Among them, there are about 200 ancient manuscripts preserved by the Library of the Custody of the Holy Land: texts in Arabic, Latin, and also in Armenian and Syriac.
Marcello Mozzato, Italian volunteer, tells his work in the library. He is involved in the project “Books, Bridges of Peace”, promoted by ATS Pro Terra Sancta, thanks to the collaboration between Custody and the Catholic University of Milan.
