Christmas Appeal 2021
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." – JOHN 1:14
As we celebrate the gift of our Savior Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers to all who believe in Him, let us give thanks for our many blessings. For Christians, the Advent season is a Holy time of repentance, meditation, and penance in anticipation of Christ’s birth.
As Christians in the Holy Land gather to worship on this holiest of days, may we be reminded of the challenges and sacrifices they have endured over the last 18 months. The effects of Covid, not just on the region’s physical health, but on Holy Land tourism and particularly pilgrimages, have created great economic hardship for our Christian brothers and sisters. Faithfully, they pray to God for help.
This Christmas, please consider sharing your gifts with those who need it most. The Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land is committed to doing everything possible to provide Christians in the Holy Land with the opportunity to receive a quality education, learn a trade, earn stable employment, and find affordable housing. With your help, we can continue to offer programs and services to our Christian brothers and sisters, giving them hope and a future. Your generosity allows us to preserve Christianity in its birthplace and restore faith in the hearts of many.
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19
I humbly ask that you consider making a special gift to the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land this Christmas season. Your meaningful contribution will make a difference in the lives of Christian men, women and children, allowing them to live in peace and harmony. Your generosity will help restore hope in the Holy Land.
