Joseph S. Paresi is the President of TASK Technical and Management Consulting, Inc. helping start-up companies establish products and markets. Mr. Paresi is also leading the financing of several companies looking to raise funds, acquire new businesses or cashing out through a company sale.

Previously. Joseph Paresi Founded, and was the Chairman and CEO of IDSS Holdings, Inc., operating as Integrated Defense and Security Solutions (IDSS). Mr. Paresi brought over forty (40) years of experience in engineering designs and manufacturing along with executive level management in the security and defense fields. At IDSS, Mr. Paresi developed the DETECT 1000 TSA Certified Explosives Detection System and established markets with the TSA, the US Secret Service and internationally as well as with US Customs for automated detection of narcotics. As part of these efforts, Mr. Paresi also designed and Patented a Cargo Pallet Scanner for Aviation and Customs applications.

Prior to IDSS, Mr. Paresi co-founder of L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:ID), an Identity Management Company specializing in advanced credentialing and Finger, face and Iris Biometric technologies for the DoD, State Department and Law Enforcement Agencies. At L-1, Mr. Paresi was the co-founder and Executive Vice President, until the company was sold to Safran in 2011 for $1.6B.

Before  L-1, Mr. Paresi was part of the founding team of L-3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LLL) and served as  Corporate Officer and Corporate Vice President of Product Development as well as the Founder and President of L-3 Security & Detection Systems from 1996 until 2005. During his tenure, Mr. Paresi was responsible for developing many advanced products for Homeland Security, including checkpoint scanners, the eXaminer 3DX 6000 TSA Certified Explosive Detection System, Cargo and Mobile Systems along with the ProVision Millimeterwave Body Scanner. Mr. Paresi grew L-3’s Security & Detection Systems Division from its inception to over 1,000 employees. L3 S&DS was recently sold to Leidos for $1B.

Prior to L-3, Mr. Paresi served as Corporate Director of Technology at Lockheed Martin and served in the same capacity at Loral Corporation.. Mr. Paresi spent over 16 years at Loral Electronic Systems as a senior design engineer, Director of Marketing and Director of Programs.

Mr. Paresi has been on numerous Boards, including the International Association of Airport Executives and the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies and is presently a Westchester County Police Board Commissioner.
