Christian Housing Programs

FFHL exists to provide critical, life-sustaining opportunities to Christians in the Holy Land. One of the fundamental goals of the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land is to provide housing for Christian families. The Foundation partners with Christian construction companies to develop two and three bedroom apartment buildings. Additionally,  there are many houses in Bethlehem and in the surrounding areas that are in dire need of repair. FFHL works with the Franciscan Family Center to accomplish two purposes – to provide employment for local Palestinian Christians through job placement programs in the construction and maintenance industries; and to make upgrades to homes so that the inhabitants can reside in improved living conditions.
