Bethlehem’s Franciscan Boys Home Celebrates 15th Anniversary

WHAT: Since 2007, Bethlehem’s “Franciscan Boys Home” has been welcoming children and youth ages 6 to 18 from families in need to give them an education and a future. The Boys Home cares for children experiencing social hardship and extreme difficulty. The Boys Home operates under the supervision of a specialized staff working as a family under the charge of one of the Franciscan Fathers with the assistance of the Franciscan Sisters. To date, more than one hundred children have benefited from the Boys Home services. Additionally, after leaving the Boys Home, many have made some remarkable achievements for themselves and their communities.

Founded in 1994, the Franciscan Foundation for The Holy Land (FFHL) is a worldwide ecumenical organization, based in the USA, operating under the auspices of the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land.
